The Final Step in the Insurance Submission Workflow
At Sembley, our goal has always been to help agents run the perfect insurance submission workflow — one that’s accurate, efficient, and doesn’t require jumping between systems.
Over time, we’ve focused on removing friction from every step of the process:
- collecting client information through simple, shareable intakes
- automatically populating responses across ACORD forms and supplements
- preparing complete submission packets and sending them for signature
Until now, there was still one step that usually happened outside the workflow: collecting payment.
Today, that changes.
Collect payment at the moment your client signs
We’re excited to announce our new ePayPolicy integration, which allows agents to collect payment directly inside Sembley’s document signing flow.
With ePayPolicy enabled, you can request a down payment or deposit at bind while your client is reviewing and signing their submission documents. There’s no need to send a separate invoice, follow up for payment, or switch tools once the paperwork is complete.
Your client signs their documents.
They submit payment via ACH or credit card.
You receive confirmation that everything is done.
All in one connected workflow.
How it works inside Sembley
Using ePayPolicy in Sembley is simple and flexible:
- Prepare your submission as you normally would
- Turn on Collect payment before sending documents for signature
- Select the payer and enter the amount you’d like to request
- Send via email or shareable link
From the client’s perspective, the experience is just as straightforward. They review and sign their documents, submit payment through a secure ePayPolicy checkout, and receive a receipt directly from ePayPolicy once payment is complete.
On your end, you’re notified as soon as the full packet is signed and payment has been received.
Why we built this
For many agencies, collecting payment after bind still means:
- sending a separate invoice
- tracking down clients who haven’t paid yet
- managing one more tool outside the core submission process
By integrating ePayPolicy directly into Sembley, we’ve made payment collection part of the same workflow agents already use to prepare, sign, and deliver submissions.
It’s faster for you, easier for your clients, and removes yet another source of friction from the submission process.
