How the Integration Works

The process is remarkably simple:

  1. Client authentication: Clients or prospects select their insurance carrier and sign in through Canopy Connect's secure portal.
  2. Data collection: Canopy Connect instantly retrieves over 250 structured data fields directly from the carrier.
  3. One-click transfer: With a single click on the "Send to Sembley" button, all relevant data is transferred to Sembley.
  4. Automatic form population: Sembley intelligently maps this data to the appropriate fields in any combination of ACORD forms and supplemental applications.

Setting Up the Integration

Getting started with the Canopy Connect integration is straightforward:

  1. In Sembley, navigate to Settings > Integrations
  2. Select "Canopy Connect" from the available integrations
  3. Click "Activate" to begin the authorization process
  4. You'll be redirected to Canopy Connect to authenticate and grant permissions
  5. Once authenticated, you'll be returned to Sembley with the integration activated
